Gala Bingo has announced that it will donate some of the proceeds from its online bingo operations to charity. The new program of charity donations is to last for eighteen months and will assist programs at the Sue Ryder Care Trust.

The Trust program is planning on expanding its yearly operations from 4 million hours to 10 million hours. The program benefits people in the United Kingdom and in 12 other European countries. The donation program will come from the Gala online bingo operations, its online casino and from its land based bingo sites.

Gala Bingo Continues Everyone’s a Winner

Gala Bingo’s New Advertising Agency

Gala Bingo and Coral group have the Red Brick Road Advertising Agency to handle all the advertising requirements across the entire group. Initially they were appointed in December 2006 but they have only been working for the clubs on a project basis, but their appointment was made on a permanent basis earlier in 2007.

The promulgation of the Gambling Act has been instrumental in opening up marketing opportunities for the gaming industry that were never before possible, and a s a result of this the gaming industry is going to need to make full use of professional consultations with advertising agencies if they are going to stay ahead of the game. This focus will attract some very healthy competition, particularly as the gaming industry is now allowed to advertise on television.

The object of the Gala Bingo campaign will be to promote and expand the appeal of bingo to a larger audience within the modern leisure sector.

This campaign will first appear in Scotland and will be going National by January 2008. The campaign is going to include TV commercials, sheet posters, radio and national press with the campaign line “Gala Bingo. We say more play” reinforcing bingo as a playful way to spend your time.

Gala Bingo TV Has First Birthday

The latest in gaming technology; brings Bingo TV to the viewer. What an innovation, and Gala Bingo TV was launched on the 4th of October 2006.

The channel has now celebrated its 1st birthday and is becoming more and more popular. It is quite unbelievable to conceptualize that Television can now provide your favorite online bingo game at the touch of a button. Gala TV was the first to launch this product and many others have, quite understandably followed-suit.

The Gala TV bingo channel is on 841 via Sky and is considered to be a fantastic product for British bingo players. It is unfortunate that this news is in retrospect, because the promotions they ran to celebrate their 1st anniversary were apparently quite something.
