Newcastle Turns Out to be a Lucky Bingo Town for Recent Winners

Recently we reported that a fifty-two year old grandmother from the Newcastle area won £50,000, well she was not the only local to take home a large wad of bingo prize money. A fifty-seven year old woman who is from the Gosforth area, was playing bingo at her local Mecca Bingo Club in East Gateshead when the good luck fairy must have been watching over her.

She also won the UK National bingo jackpot prize of £50,000 plus a house prize of £190 when she called full house in forty-two numbers. The winner is a single woman and she plays at the Gateshead Mecca Bingo Club with her seventy-eight year old mother, she has been a member there since 1995. She said that she thought it was all a dream and she at one point even felt sick, but she is slowly realising that it is all true and is looking forward to receiving her prize money.

I don’t know about you, but if I lived in the Newcastle area, I would definitely get down to my local Mecca Bingo club and have a little flutter, it seems that this is a lucky town to play in at the moment.
