Men and Bingo

It has been long believed that bingo is a “women’s” or pensioners game, although there are quite a number of men who do play and are confident enough to attend and enjoy a game of bingo, either alone or with their spouse or partner, without feeling so emasculated that they are damaged for life.

These are “real men” in my estimation, and the trend is changing. More “real men” are playing enjoying and winning at bingo, and many of them are from younger age groups. Yes, you do get the odd bloke who pooh-pahs bingo as a sissies game, but that is usually because, he is not terribly confident with his own masculinity. If he is your bloke and you want to try to get him to come and have a game of bingo with you, perhaps you might try to trick him into it by telling him that:

Bingo is a game for quiet concentration and that it is a wonder that women can play the game, seeing as how they lack the ability to stay quiet and suffer from short concentration spans.

Bingo is specifically designed to be played while drinking beer.

The game requires “balls”

Bingo was invented by men in the 16th century.

If women want to equal with men, then men also have to get equal with woman and make a mark on their turf.

Ladies, it might be a long shot, but I recon it is worth a try, a bit of togetherness at the local bingo club can’t do the relationship any harm!
