Change of Heart Led to Big Bingo Win!

A sixty-three year old security guard from Airth who won a £17,500 UK National Bingo prize together with the house prize of £99 when he completed a full house in 47 calls in the Afternoon Delight game at the Gala Bingo Club, Kerse Lane, Falkirk, wasn’t actually going to go out to play bingo on the afternoon that he won this lovely prize.

Although he has been playing bingo for many years, he had decided that he was not going to play bingo with his wife on this particular afternoon as he was working the night shift and felt that it would do him more good just to go back to bed. He must have been listening to that inner voice, the instinct that tells you “you just might win”. Because he decided to join his wife and his instinct obviously paid off.

He and his wife were in absolute shock over his win and he said that he had to go to work after playing bingo and was still shaking like a leaf. The couple who have one daughter and a grandson, will be paying a little extra off their mortgage, putting some money down on a new car and taking a holiday in Benidorm, Spain, with his bingo winnings. Bingo pundits do claim that you should listen to your heart an not you head when playing this great game of chance, his change of heart obviously paid off in this instance.
