Whatever Next – Online Bingo Comes To The High Street

The well known Gibralter – based online bingo developer, St.Minver, have been approached by the British high street retailer – Woolworths to develop an online bingo site for the group.

I have to express some surprise at this development as it seems that just about everyone and his auntie is jumping aboard the online bingo band wagon. Where ever will it end? First Ann Summers and now Woolworths, I wonder if Asda, Tesco’s and Harrods will be next? Unless they have not already commissioned an online bingo site that has slipped through the cracks of my research and I am still blissfully unaware of.

The Woolworths online bingo site is to be developed, operated and managed by St Minver, and it is hoped that the Woolworths brand dip into the ocean of wealth that appears to have been created by the new online rage for bingo, will generate fresh revenue for them.

It has also been stated by Woolworths that their newly formulated ideas of becoming involved in the online bingo industry, is the first of many new ideas that the Woolworths group has their sights set on in their attempt to grab a slice of online generated income. Who knows, perhaps you will be able to do your shopping at the same time as you play your favorite game of Woolworths bingo.
