Bingo Caller of the Year Competition

It is with bated breath that we have been long awaiting the outcome of the Bingo Caller of the year competition. After the final heats of the National Bingo Gaming Association competition that were held this past weekend.

The winner was declared to be Blake Robson, Blake was one of the finalists representing Mecca Bingo and he took the lead over five other regional heats winners. The judges of the competition which was hosted at the Mecca, Wood Green Club in London were obviously completely blown away by the clarity of his bingo calling prowess.

Blake is forty-one and hails from South Shields in the North East. Together with the prestigious trophy that was awarded to him by Lorraine Chase of the ITV programme, Ennerdale, Blake received £500 and a trip for two to Los Angeles in the USA, all expenses paid! Included in this trip will be the opportunity of a lifetime – to call for a bingo game at the Sun Coast Casino in Las Vegas. This will be more than just an exciting bingo game for Blake, as the Sun Coast Casino is one of the former haunts of the legendary Elvis Presley, his musical hero. Well done
