Bingo Television Advertising Gets Competitive

Television advertising for bingo is in its very early stages. Never before have bingo operators been allowed to advertise on the small screen, but times have changed, and with the advent of the New Gambling Act., gaming is allowed to advertised.

This scenario has got bingo operators, country-wide scrambling for “faces” to promote their bingo operations, people like Sharon Osbourne, who was the face of Gala Bingo, Katie Price from Foxy Bingo, this scenario has competitors following suite and attempting to get more interesting or “famous” people to promote their product. The upshot of this is that the “faces” will extend into competitive bingo television advertising

Betfred Bingo, some months ago managed to bring in Stuart Hall as their “Face” of bingo. Stuart Hall, the presenter of It’s a Knockout fame. Betfred Bingo are really hoping that Stuart, with his infectious laughter and eloquent speaking voice will attract more players to their online bingo site just to hear him being their caller.

Well it seems that Stuart is working out for Betfred bingo and they have just launch a new bingo television advert featuring Stuart, where he climbs out of the screen of a laptop to entertain a couple of bored people. The advert is receiving some very good critique, unlike a couple of the first attempt of various other bingo operators to advertise, and what is to them, a very new medium.
