New Bingo Calls at Free Bingo UK

Free Bingo UK has livened up the game of bingo by developing their own system of bingo calls. Instead of the traditional calls, like Two Fat Ladies 88 and Legs 11, they have developed a system of musical calls based on pop music.

The musical bingo calls take place in the Music Room, one of eleven bingo rooms at the site. Examples of the new calls are Get Your Kicks on Route 66 and The Who 22. There are ninety musical calls to go with the ninety ball bingo game. In addition, they use the voices of singers like Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and others when making the calls. The other bingo rooms at the site have different themes and don’t use musical calls.

Wayne Howe, the manager of Free Bingo UK says that the new musical calls are in keeping with the times and go along with the site’s attempt to attract a younger audience especially in light of the switch from land-based to online bingo that is taking place.

Free Bingo UK was launched in 2005 and is now the largest free bingo site in the United Kingdom having more than 100,000 registered players. They offer both seventy-five and ninety number bingo and play for free bingo pounds that can be redeemed for prizes. Cards are priced in terms of free bingo pounds. In the Music Room, players buy a strip of six cards for FB£1 and play three part games. The prizes they win are also denominated in free bingo pounds. The free bingo pounds can be redeemed for prizes like mugs and t-shirts provided by their sponsors.
