Parlay Receives Two Awards

Internet bingo software developer Parlay Entertainment is the world’s leading developer of internet bingo and television bingo solutions.  The company was honored at the Bingo Summit in London with two awards at the Online Bingo Awards.

The company’s Parlay 4 which has set the standards for software in the online bingo industry, received the award for the Best Online Bingo Software 2008. The side game, BingoBets won the award for the Best Online Bingo Innovation 2008. In addition, Paddy Power, one of the Parlay licensees, won the Best Newcomer 2008 award.

A group of industry experts nominated various entities for the awards and the determination of the winners was made by the 200 delegates attending the Bingo Summit. The fact that the awards are determined by industry experts and peers makes them that much more important to the recipient.

When Parlay 4 was introduced in 2006, it introduced a lot of firsts that immediately made it the software to be emulated.  The software set the standards for excellence in the bingo industry. BingoBets allows the player to place up to nine different wagers during the bingo game. This side game adds to the excitement of the game and results in increased opportunities to win for the player.

Parlay5 was introduced at the Bingo Summit.  This is the next generation of online bingo software and it makes it easier for online bingo operators to function in a truly international market. Players who speak different languages and use different currencies can be pooled into one bingo room.  The new Parlay5 will also allow the operators to distinguish between their different bingo brands.
