Spanish Bingo Launch

Gaming VC is a European gaming company that has recently launched a Spanish language online bingo site is Spain called Winzingo.  The new site represents the gaming company’s penetration into the Spanish market, which is expected to be quite lucrative.

Winzingo software is provided by Parlay, which is the world’s leader in internet bingo solutions.  Winzingo is targeting women in the Spanish market which is why they timed the opening to coincide with the Euro 2008 games. They are hoping to capture the female market while the men are busy with football.

The new bingo site is completely in Spanish for the Spanish audience.  There is a Spanish interface, Spanish callers and the currency used is Euros.  The site is staffed with Spanish chat managers and a Spanish customer service department.  There is an advertising campaigned that is specifically aimed at Spanish women.

Gaming VC views the expansion into Spain as example of how bingo companies are seeking out new markets and niches outside of the United Kingdom.

Gaming VC is headquartered in Luxembourg and has its online bingo site licensed in Malta.  They also have licenses in Italy and the Dutch Antilles.  Parlay, one of the leading internet bingo software developers, is expected to introduce its new Parlay 5 at the Bingo Summit held in London next week.
