Bingo.Com to Expand
Bingo is the game that is rapidly catching on around the world. It is also the entry mechanism for many gambling companies when they enter a new market. Since Spain is allowing more competition in its gambling market, bingo operators like Bingo.com are expanding their operations there.
Bingo.com is looking to expand outside the United Kingdom. The company has privately placed 2 million shares of common stock at a price of $0.30 share and is looking at other ways of raising money to fund their expansion.
Bingo.com CEO Tarrnie Williams confirms the plans to expand beyond the United Kingdom. They have plans to launch a Spanish version of their website and also players to make deposits in different currencies.
Bingo.com has more than 1.8 million registered players and they are growing, along with other online bingo sites, due to the smoking ban. This has caused many land-based bingo players in the United Kingdom to switch to online play and has contributed to the growth of the online bingo industry.
Online bingo companies will continue to benefit as the online bingo fad continues to grow. As more European countries open their markets to competition, online bingo will expand into those markets.
